National Digital Transformation Day is held annually to accelerate the implementation of national digital transformation tasks, effectively implement the National Digital Transformation Program to 2025, with orientation to 2030.

The decision assigns the Ministry of Information and Communications to assume the prime responsibility for, and coordinate with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Ministry of Science and Technology with, relevant ministries and branches, and the People’s Committees of the provinces and cities directly under their control. central government to develop specific implementation plans; guide and direct the implementation of annual National Digital Transformation Day communication activities to ensure practicality, efficiency and savings.

Ministries, ministerial-level agencies, Governmental agencies, People’s Committees of provinces and centrally run cities, based on plans and instructions of the Ministry of Information and Communications and actual conditions of each ministry, branches and localities to organize the implementation of activities appropriate to the annual National Digital Transformation Day communication at ministries, branches and localities.

The Vietnam Federation of Trade and Industry, associations and associations in the field of information and communication direct affiliated member organizations to participate in and organize annual National Digital Transformation Day communication activities. .

The Vietnam Television Station, the Voice of Vietnam Radio, and the Vietnam News Agency develop a plan to propagate on channels about digital transformation and the National Digital Transformation Day. The central and local news agencies and press agencies shall step up the propaganda and promotion of the National Digital Transformation Day; develop programs to introduce and commend typical agencies, organizations and enterprises that have taken the lead in applying new technologies and models; organizing external media, promoting the National Digital Transformation Day abroad.
