Sao Khue Award 2026: When Vietnam’s Technology Evaluation Standards Enter a New Era

As Vietnam’s digital technology industry shifts toward a stage defined by real technological capability and competitiveness, achieving recognition at the Sao Khue Award 2026 carries significance far beyond individual corporate achievement. It also reflects an important transformation within Vietnam’s technology sector: moving from evaluating products based on standalone features to comprehensively assessing technological capability, scalability, maturity level, and the practical impact of digital solutions.

Being recognized in the same year that the Sao Khue Award 2026 introduced its next-generation evaluation framework is considered a noteworthy milestone for domestic technology enterprises. For the first time, the program goes beyond simply honoring products and instead focuses on positioning enterprises’ technological capabilities and long-term development potential on the “Vietnam Digital Technology Solutions Map.”

Sao Khue 2026: From a Technology Award to an Industry Capability Benchmark

According to the Organizing Committee, the Sao Khue Award 2026 applies a next-generation evaluation model under the orientation of “Standardization – Scientific Assessment – International Reach,” marking one of the most significant changes in Vietnam’s digital technology solution evaluation system.

Rather than functioning solely as an award recognition program, the 2026 edition introduces the “Vietnam Digital Technology Solutions Map” alongside a multi-layered evaluation system designed to more clearly reflect enterprises’ technological position, research and development capability, and scalability within the national digital ecosystem.

The New Evaluation Model: Redefining How Technology Enterprise Capabilities Are Assessed

Based on the criteria announced by the Organizing Committee, nominations for the Sao Khue Award 2026 are evaluated through two major dimensions: market scale and solution maturity.

Mr. Lam Quang Nam – Vice President of VINASA – introduces the next-generation evaluation model officially applied starting from the Sao Khue Award 2026.

The technology maturity framework is divided into five levels, ranging from Prototype (M1) to International Class (M5). This model enables assessment not only of current operational capability, but also of long-term development potential, integration of emerging technologies, scalability, and international competitiveness.

At the same time, the evaluation criteria have been expanded across three key dimensions:

  • Technical capability and technology maturity
  • Application domain and operational standards
  • Economic efficiency, social impact, and future readiness

These criteria include in-depth factors such as solution intelligence, UX/Agility, compliance capability, reliability, economic effectiveness, ESG/Social impact, and Future Ready capability.

Industry experts believe that the transition toward a multidimensional evaluation model demonstrates that Vietnam’s digital technology sector is moving closer to international assessment standards, where technology products are evaluated not only based on functionality but also on their ability to create sustainable value for businesses and society.

SiciX and the Recognition of a Digital Business Management Ecosystem

SiciX’s recognition at the Sao Khue Award 2026 comes at a time when evaluation criteria are becoming increasingly rigorous, quantitative, and focused on real-world implementation capability.

The SiciX Digital Business Platform has been developed with an integrated approach that emphasizes data synchronization and enables enterprises to operate on a unified platform. The ecosystem focuses on core management areas such as ERP, CRM, human resource management, finance, executive operations, and enterprise data analytics.

As Vietnamese enterprises accelerate comprehensive digital transformation, platforms capable of connecting cross-department data, optimizing operations, and supporting real-time decision-making are becoming a dominant market trend.

Under the new orientation introduced by VINASA — the organizer of the award — recognized enterprises are required not only to possess strong technology, but also to demonstrate technological mastery, commercialization capability, economic and social impact, and the potential to expand into international markets.

From “Product Recognition” to “Industry Capability Positioning”

Many experts believe that the changes introduced at the Sao Khue Award 2026 carry significant implications for Vietnam’s entire digital technology industry.

While technology awards in the past primarily served branding and recognition purposes, the new model is gradually becoming a capability benchmark for Vietnamese technology enterprises, particularly in the context of accelerating national digital transformation and increasingly intense international competition.

The implementation of a multi-level evaluation system also creates stronger motivation for enterprises to invest more systematically in research and development, product standardization, AI and ESG integration, and international market expansion.

For Vietnamese technology companies, this is no longer merely a competition of product features, but a competition of overall technological capability, long-term value creation, and readiness for the future digital economy.
